Sutherland Hospital & Community Health Service

The $62.9 million redevelopment of Sutherland Hospital & Community Health Service which includes a new and expanded emergency department, a new emergency department short stay unit, general medical unit, general surgical inpatient unit and an expanded high-dependency/intensive care unit.

Sparks+Partners were engaged by G. M. Considine Plumbing Pty Ltd for the hydraulic services design and documentation in BIM for the development.

The existing building needed to remain functional during the construction. The building was to be designed with the ability to add an additional two (2) future clinical floors on the top of the Level 4 slab, levels 5 and 6 with level 7 being the future roof.
