ABOUT US

RICH HISTORY BLENDED WITH INNOVATION AND DRIVE

Sparks+Partners Consulting Engineers specialises in hydraulic, storm water, civil and environmental engineering, wet and dry fire services and Revit/BIM design. The company was formed in 2014 through a merger between industry-renowned G. J. Sparks & Partners, established in 1989, and ambitious River Consulting Engineers. The dynamic Sparks+Partners brings together a seasoned practice in quality engineering, and a new generation of innovation, technology and drive. Supporting this core expertise is a suite of current technology, including next-generation design applications. Our tools, technologies and know-how grow in sophistication every day. We supply leading-edge 3D BIM/Revit models, along with conventional 2D AutoCAD drawings to enhance and extend our design offering. We have an integrated civil and environmental engineering division plus a specialist fire team to further boost our capabilities. These innovations will meet current and future demand for more disciplines outside hydraulic engineering. Each team member brings their unique skills and strengths to the company, and is guided by an energetic, resourceful and qualified leadership team. Our people have experience across a range of engineering and construction projects, and are supported by a highly capable documentation and quality control support team. Sparks+Partners takes pride in its hands-on approach, and allocates only the highest calibre resources to suit our clients’ needs. We aim to meet the special requirements and challenges of every project, from concept right through to completion.

After a fortunate crossing of paths, a few lengthy discussions and much deliberation G. J. Sparks & Partners was all of a sudden on the market. In mid-2014 a dynamic deal was finalised between Leon Dimino, Bruno Lara-Alvarez, Morgan Walter and myself. The new directors and Garey worked diligently together to develop a solid plan for the future. Galvanising a secure and smooth transition for our fresh venture. Move to George Street Parramatta

Three years in and G. J. Sparks & Partners outgrew our dual office suites in Phillip Street. In 1992 we moved to level 91 George Street, Parramatta; a newly built, air-conditioned office. We spilled across the whole level and grew incrementally in staff numbers taking on a new Director, installing new technology and increasing our work output.

G. J. Sparks & Partners Pty. Ltd founded

In the new year of 1989, Garey Sparks started working at my home. Spreading drawings across the dining room table and taking on any job that came my way. It very quickly came time to go official, and the business, G. J. Sparks & Partners Pty. Ltd. was first registered and commenced on the thirteenth day of January in nineteen eighty-nine with one Director and one Company Secretary at the helm.
