Sparks & Partners (formerly River Consulting Engineers) were engaged to carry out a full design and construct solution for end client Komatsu on behalf of the builder, FDC Construction & Fitout in conjunction with the plumbing contractor Ascend Services over an 8 month period and 32-week program.
Komatsu is a Japanese multinational corporation that manufactures construction, mining, and military equipment, as well as industrial equipment like press machines, lasers and thermoelectric generators.
The 6,600sqm project was a greenfield new development involving the construction of a new three level office facility, inclusive of meeting rooms, canteen (café) workstation space, and breakout areas. Featuring:

Large gas connections to assist with the internal usage requirements
