Sell & Parker Metal Recovery & Recycling Facility Kings Park
Sparks & Partners Consulting Engineers were contracted by Sell & Parker. Sell & Parker purchase, sell and recycle all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Their facilities are located strategically throughout NSW and Australia including Sydney (Blacktown, Banksmeadow, Ingleburn) the NSW North Coast (Coffs Harbour), NSW South Coast (Nowra) and Hunter Region (Newcastle). Other facilities throughout Australia include Darwin and Port Headland. They are also one of only three accredited suppliers to BlueScope Steel.
Sell & Parker have the opportunity to pursue growth in metropolitan markets via economies of scale, vertical integration (acquisition) and superior networks that help reduce transportation costs and improve service delivery. The Kings Park RRF forms an important piece of Sell & Parker’s network, servicing the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area and processing material sourced across the Sell & Parker network.
Sparks & Partners’ project follows the 2016 Kings Park Metal Recovery & Recycling Facility expansion to 60,000 square metres including a new warehouse for non-ferrous buying and processing. New 1400 tonne Danieli Henschel shear commissioned. With a slightly bigger bed than our other shears, this is now the largest shear in Australia. It replaces an 800 tonne shear commissioned in 1996.
