Caroma NATA Testing Laboratory

Sparks and Partners Consulting Engineers delivered the hydraulic engineering on a new GWA Innovation and warehouse facility designed to be utilised as a distribution centre for Caroma Bathroom Products. Accommodating both office and warehouse workers in the same location. The new 30,000m2 facility consists of the following:

• 1,695m2 Laboratory with R&D and NATA accredited testing facilities for sanitary fixtures – toilets (pans/suites), urinals, bidets, cisterns, baths, sinks, basins and purpose-built bathroom modules.
• Acoustic Treatment, Water Recycling and CNC machinery areas
• Battery recharge area
• Loading dock office and Gatehouse
• Modernised main office
• Hardstand area and parking for 127 cars

We also provided consultation services for revisions to the design and documentation of the proposed Vertical Test Rig at the Prestons testing laboratories.
