June 4, 2020 by in Company News

On Tuesday 28 May the Vaughan team attended the ribbon cutting and blessing ceremony at the recently completed Marrickville Freezers Foodservice facility.

Blessed by a priest, the ceremony celebrates the new building and prosperous future.

Liverpool Council Mayor, Wendy Waller also attended the event alongside the Marrickville Freezers Foodservice team.

Achieving practical completion Friday 10 May 2019, works included the demolition of the existing buildings and construction of a new 4,700m² facility inclusive of warehouse, freezer, chiller and a two-level office.

The new facility has a capacity for 5,000 pallets, which is a significant increase from their previous warehouse.

Vaughan was engaged under an ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) agreement and the team were able to assist the customer with the design, approvals and now construction of the facility.

Located in Moorebank, NSW the new distribution centre will cater to the company’s current and future growth and allow for elevated operations and a higher level of output.

Our team were proud to hand this project over ahead of schedule, allowing the customer early access to continue to provide excellence and reliable quality of service, from their new facility.
