During twenty-twenty-four, Sparks+Partners continued working on engineering services for the ASPECT Industrial Estate by Mirvac in Kemps Creek. The Estate is a 56-hectare site and is part of the Greater Mamre Road Precinct in Western Sydney. It features 11 large high-clearance industrial sites with a total of 248,112 sqm of gross floor area dedicated to industrial, warehouse and cafe uses.
Last year, Sparks+Partners delivered designs for Warehouse 1 (Ceva Logistics), Warehouse 9 (Winnings Appliances) and Warehouse 3.
This year, our team produced hydraulic and fire service designs for Warehouse 8 for IVE Group and Warehouse 2 in collaboration with Watson Young and SBA Architects. The size of the sites and corresponding operational requirements of the warehouses across the Estate posed unique design challenges that we met with precision and expertise.
A significant challenge encountered on the Estate was inadequate water main infrastructure, which limited water supply and pressure to the sites. We resolved this issue with innovative solutions, implementing bespoke tank and pump systems for each warehouse. Our tailored systems overcame the limitations, ensuring reliable water supply and pressure and allowing the development to progress smoothly.
Sparks+Partners’ commitment to high-quality, customised solutions reinforces our reputation as trusted advisors, providing excellence across large-scale industrial projects.
The scope of work for the warehouses (1, 2, 3, 8 and 9) primarily included the following:
Hydraulic Services
Fire Sprinkler Service D&C
Section 73 Application and SydneyWater Tap-in
Construction Phase
Final Inspection
