Aspect, Kemps Creek is a 56 hectare site within the Greater Mamre Road Precinct in Western Sydney, zoned for industrial uses and will be developed by Mirvac to deliver premium grade warehouse and logistics facilities. The estate is deemed a State Significant Development and is part of the NSW Government Planning System Acceleration Program, supporting productivity, investment and jobs during and post-Pandemic.
SBA Architects in partnership with Mirvac delivered the ASPECT design with the construction of Warehouse 1 commencing in March of this year. Inspired by nature, the embodied carbon estate will have 247,000 sqm of flexible, functional and sustainable superior, high-specification architectural design warehouse and office space. Committed tenants Lineage, CEVA Logistics and Winning Group will experience comfort and operational efficiency future and evolving business needs.
Sparks+Partners provided hydraulic and fire services consulting for building contractors, Qanstruct for the Aspect state-of-the-art development.
The Aspect warehouse dimensions were exceptionally large, and the fire hydrant (FH) system within it stands out as one of the most extensive systems Sparks+Partners have encountered.
The stormwater detention system also presented as an unconventional challenge. A tailored reticulation system design solution had to be created, featuring water spraying mechanisms directed towards the roof to address the peculiarities of the system.
