Curl Curl North Public School Upgrade

Sparks+Partners Consulting Engineers provided the hydraulic design services on major development works at Curl Curl North Public School, on Sydney’s northern beaches, that will caters for 1,000 pupils. The project will delivered 40 classrooms, a new hall, upgraded sporting areas and more.

We were contracted by Foran Industries to undertake Hydraulic Engineering Services and Stormwater Engineering Services.

Hydraulic Engineering Services and BIM Modelling

Site inspection to determine site opportunities and constraints; Liaise with relevant authorities and undertake pressure flow enquiry with Sydney Water; Undertake DBYD enquiries; Prepare preliminary sketch plans and details for design development and coordination; Hydraulic services specification brief; Provision of design certification for all disciplines.

BIM Modelling, design and documentation (CAD drawings PDF/DWG formats) including:

Roof drainage, balcony drainage and downpipe design;
Subsoil and basement drainage;
Sewer Drainage;
Sanitary Plumbing and drainage;
Trade Waste Drainage;
Cold Water Service;
Hot Water Service;
Rainwater re-use and filtration service;
Fire Hydrant Services;
Gas Services;
Fire Hose Reel Services;
Drencher Design.

Stormwater Engineering Services

Stormwater Engineering Services design including, Review approved development consent and liaise with Council if required to confirm consent; Prepare preliminary sketch plans and details for design development and coordination; Undertake detailed stormwater drainage design calculations to confirm stormwater drainage infrastructure sizing and details for on-ground surface drainage, On-Site Detention (OSD) and water quality improvement items;
