Designed to achieve a 5 Star Green Star and 5 Star NABERS Energy Rating this A-Grade 13 storey office building is located at the north eastern corner of the new Parramatta Civic Precinct at the corner of Macquarie and Smith Streets. The design gives careful consideration to the treatment of the ground plane and the public spaces created around and under the building. Retail frontages, with a two storey colonnade space, activate Smith Street while to the west a new laneway is visually activated by passenger lifts servicing the building within a glass core. A small cafe tenancy provides retail presence on the north-south pedestrian link. The commercial lobby is located on the western side of the site and is directly accessible from Macquarie Street to the north where the triple height lobby is flanked by a timber screen on the east and glazed facade of the lift core on the west. Light is drawn into the centre of the building through a triangular atrium space which in turn creates a sense of community and a focus for communication and interaction.
