Macarthur Square Shopping Centre, located at Gilchrist Drive and Kellicar Rd Macarthur, Campbelltown is an existing regional Centre with approximately 94,000 sq.m of GLA with parking for approximately 3,600 cars.
The Centre is owned by APPF Retail and GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund and is managed by Lend Lease Property Management Australia (LLPMA), as agents for the owners. LLPMA is the Development Manager for the forthcoming redevelopment of the Centre.
Sparks+Partners have been appointed the design hydraulic and BIM consultant on behalf of plumbers, Brown & Moodie for the lead builder and project manager Lend Lease for the design and construction of the redevelopment.
The project involves an extension of the existing Centre on vacant land to the west of the Centre, adjacent the Macarthur Square Gardens development (Stockland residential) and existing Kellicar Road. The new extension provides 1 retail level (L3) and will add approximately 12,000 sq.m of GLA with approximately 460 additional car parking spaces.
Stage 4A – retail will include a new Supermarket and approximately 45 specialty stores including iconic large format tenants. These new facilities will be provided at R.L 91.20 to allow connection back to the existing centre at L3 with access points from Kellicar Road. New car parking will also be provided on grade to the south, to the new retail.
Stage 4B is to reconfigure an existing Major tenant and surrounding specialty retail at L2 south. These are to commence on completion of works to Stage 4A.
